Can a Senate committee subpoena a sitting Senator?

For example if the Senate Select Committee on Maga Treasonous Motherfuckers subpoena Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz?

Seriously. Can House or Senate committees subpoena House and Senate members?

...Pug is going to respect a Congressional subpoena) is for a sitting senator to go to the well of the Senate and read the classified info directly into the Congressional Record.

This is allowed. Think Pentagon Papers.

Do that a few times and we might start to see some cooperation.

Dear Senator Blumenthal keeps coming to the cameras to tell us about some classified info that is shocking and that "the people have a right to know" --- Well, Senator, just read it into the record, for the edification of all and the salvation of the Republic.

We can either passively wait, or apply pressure. Please see my earlier OP (with poll) and consider taking quick & easy action.
