Bill Clinton, the Good Friday Agreement, and the IP Conflict

Why don't we start from the premise that both sides of the dispute have their own narratives while diametrically opposed contain some truth?

I wish we could revive the peace process. Northern Ireland is a model though as tough as that problem was to solves this problem seems even more intractable. And even now people can't tell you the exact status of Northern Ireland but at least Unionists and Catholics aren't killing one another.

Bill Clinton worked so hard to bring peace to that area which resulted in the Good Friday Agreement. He also worked harder than any president besides Jimmy Carter to bring peace to the Middle East. It's probably a pipe dream on steroids, to mix metaphors, but I would like him to get reinvolved in a new Middle East peace process. He came closer to brokering an agreement than any of his predecessors and successors.

PEACE

P.S. I would add it was a foolish conceit on behalf of the Trump maladministration to believe you can solve the Israel-Palestine conflict without the Palestinians.
