when right-to-lifers are always careful to specify that their goal is to protect innocent lives. They have no problem with war or the death penalty; in fact, they would probably be fine with drastically expanding the number of capital crimes (so that, say, you could get the gas chamber for mugging, or even for having sex outside of heterosexual marriage) and still proudly proclaim themselves to be pro-life.
