I watched "Nightline" tonight.

I do not watch it often.

Before the show began, there was a PSA with all four of the former Presidents, Carter, Dubya, Clinton and Obama. They were all rolling up their sleeves and getting the vaccine. They were encouraging others to get vaccinated.

The former guy was nowhere to be seen in that PSA. He is nothing and nobody.

1. Former guy will never be a member of the "Former Presidents Club."

Not only did he lose what I hope and pray will be his only chance to be elected to serve another term, he has trashed any possibility of ever being welcomed into that exclusive group OR receiving any of the public respect usually extended to even shitty former presidents. He will never get any respect from anyone except his cult members. And he has absolutely no one to blame but himself. What a colossal, pathetic failure he is, even though his various personality disorders will never allow him to acknowledge it.

I wonder if on some level he knows what a complete and utter failure he is and his behavior is just a defense mechanism? Either way, I am longing to see him destroyed and humiliated. I will have no pity for him.

2. POTUS is obviously a very exclusive club

And it's a long tradition for a new president to call on his predecessors for experience and advice - regardless of party. LBJ called on Eisenhower, Jimmy Carter only had Nixon and Ford - and Ford stepped up the plate to help him deal with Congress since he had experience (House Majority Leader) and President Carter had been governor. And they had been opponents! Yet they became lifelong friends. And we know that Clinton has been friendly with both Bushes - and even Michelle Obama is buddies with W! And we know how close Obama and Biden were. The former guy is the rare exception. He burned any possible bridges not just by his unforgivable behavior towards President Obama - but by his continuing behavior towards President Biden.

5. The fake bone spur guy should NOT be allowed to participate in any president get togethers

I hope trump dies very soon so President Jimmy Carter can decline an invite to the funeral, because he is supervising a Habitat for Homeless project on that specific day.
