1. This is not a good angle

It ignores all of the videos of burned out buildings and trashed stores from last summer. The public hasn't forgotten those at all, and it makes this ring false. Both events were riots, both have people facing serious charges for it.

The better angle is to focus on the differences in police conduct during arrests. This is where the video and the facts make it much easier to prove the point.

you refer to were done by the BLM protesters but rather thugs and anarchists taking advantage of the situation and also a few incidents of Proud Boys and other right wingers going undercover to cause chaos.

Our commercial news media sucks.

The propagandists are winning. (On BLM and looting that is.) They have a big megaphone.

They want good policies that will help them in their daily lives. The non-stop fights between all sides does nothing to help them improve their daily struggles.

People of color have known it all along. If the QOP has their way it'll be even more divided and dangerous.

The next few years will probably determine this nation's course and political climate for years - maybe decades- to come. We must GOTV in every election from here on out. Too much depends on it. No slacking off, or resting on our laurels (if indeed we have any laurels to rest on).

Vote, no matter how many hoops the republiCONS make us jump through. Vote.

Justice matters.

passing good policies that help them is "radical" compared to the do-nothing-for-you republiqons.

the 2 major divisions are the Left/Center left humans who are “capax rationis”, versus the Right/Extreme Right humans who are “non compos mentis”.

The “capax rationis” is an 18th century tag, gratis Dr. Swift, meaning that humans are capable of reason, and accepts that they do not always exercise that capability.

The “non compos mentis” applies to everyone on the Right, plain and simple, with a small and insignificant handful of exceptions.

Swift did not hesitate to refer to this sort of human as “Yahoos” and to assign them the same traits, albeit as regards mostly their intellectual and moral failings as opposed to the physical, as the feces flingers in Book IV of Gulliver’s Travels. (Our Right Wing managed, on January 6th, to display the physical proclivities of Swift's Yahoos along with the intellectual and moral failings.)
