Congress isn't the be all end all of investigations and judgements.
Does Biden have any authority to call for an investigative commission in the name of national security?
Does Garland have the authority to investigate specific charges against individual members of Congress for treason/insurgency?
While I understand how Congressional hearings can be beneficial for public knowledge and spectacle, there definitely does seem to be other options we can take to hold then accountable. Otherwise everyone is just ultimately untouchable for illegal acts.
