Jerry Sandusky watched the PSU-Illinois FB game from the President's box on Oct. 29

This is as per ex-player Brandon Short on ESPN's show 'Outside The Lines.' He said that 2 sources confirmed this to him. There were several people on the show, and they were gobsmacked.

The President might not have invited him. He could have come with a BOT member or he could have walked in according to what was said.

The current President of PSU is busy spinning and complaining that this isn't a PSU story. He insists it is just a Sandusky story and problem. WRONG!

If Sandusky was in the President's box watching the game it is a real slap in the face to the victims, the University as a whole, and basically Gawd and everybody.

It boggles my mind that this would happen. If true, the NCAA has one more HUGE reason to shut down the FB program. I wish they could shut down the BOT and administrators. It is a remarkable example of lack of institutional control. That is an unforgivable sin to the NCAA, and usually brings severe penalties.

The PTB at PSU apparently don't get it, don't care or both.

Unbelievable!

That's why I said if true. It caught everybody off guard.
From the reaction of the reporters who were interviewed during the story, there will be a thorough investigation of this.

This should not include punishing those who attend or work at PSU and were not involved (including FB players and coaches) - that would be an injustice.

that are left behind. Usually, the ones who caused the damage may be long gone. That's just one of the problems I have with them.

That being said, the NCAA has usually come down hard if there is lack of institutional control. The players in the programs who have done nothing are caught in the mess.

I don't see how or why PSU should be given any special dispensation. Until the whole NCAA is reformed, they should have to abide by the rules. I don't know where or how the rules can apply, but if they do, the NCAA has to act.

JoePa should have been smacked a long time ago when he told his players not to cooperate with a university vp who was looking into some misconduct.
