Ivanka Trump appeared confused during a deposition about the role of a longtime top Trump Organization executive whos currently the subject of a criminal investigation by the New York Attorney Generals Office.
That would be Allen Weisselberg, chief financial officer of the company, who has worked for Donald Trump and his late father for decades. Ivanka Trump has worked at the same company as executive vice president since 2005.
Who is Allen Weisselberg? Ivanka Trump was asked in a deposition in December with investigators from the District of Columbia Attorney Generals Office as part of its lawsuit alleging the misuse of inaugural funds.
He is the I would have to see what his, his I dont know his exact title but hes an executive at the company, she responded, according to a transcript released earlier this year.

(60,010 posts)When you tell even the smallest lie in a deposition, you can be charged with perjury.
Do it in a Federal level dep. and that is a felony.
each lie is separate charge.
Each charge becomes a lever to use on the person for helpful info. on other people,
or on jail time for the liar.
Since the entire gang is known for dedicated dishonesty....

(12,438 posts)That's what it means when they start forgetting who you are. Hopefully, Weisselberg gets the drift and sings like Pavarotti.

(46,160 posts)the Inauguration away from Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, so that she would get the credit. And you can't do that without the help of Allen Weisselberg because he controlled/controls the money.

(32,722 posts)I don't think Weisselberg had anything to do with that money. At least he shouldn't have been involved with it, and that's the money the Chumps were stealing from before the inaugural. It looked so easy! It looked like free money to them.
Allen Weisselberg is a real accountant, even though he worked for the Chump Organization. He would have made them keep track of receipts etc., and that's why they made sure he wasn't involved.

Despicable is as despicable does. May the entire family go down in flames (with the exception of Mary Trump).
