Republicans seem to be on a ratchet.
Each time they move one notch further into crazy world everyone expects them to fall back into reality but instead they ratchet forward and drive even deeper into the insanity.
A large portion of America is dragged along with them, remaining oblivious to how preposterous their world view has become.
What will ever release this ratchet and allow them to fall back into the real world?
It seems like nothing will.
