He won't say. They are doing a segment on it on CNN (Don Lemon) right now.
I don't think he has.

And I find it impossible to believe that would be the reason. I'm sure that professional athletes get injuries all the time, which require the use of needles. He's in the wrong line of work if he's worried whenever a needle has to be injected to treat an injury.

(17,509 posts)black American history and perception about vaccines. While I dont agree with his choice (if he did indeed decide to forego vaccination), I respect his decision. LeBron is not an idiot. ... Of course, thats just my opinion.

(10,599 posts)They're going to risk their very lives, by refusing a vaccine that is meant to benefit them. The virus has hit the black community hard, and they're shooting themselves in the foot by believing that this vaccine, which has been proven safe among people of all skin colors, is somehow dangerous given the experiments of the past.

(17,509 posts)appreciate the reluctance albeit not with the Covid vaccine. My oldest son was stricken with GBS when he was 10. GBS has a history of following on flu vaccines for a very small percentage of people but statistics dont really matter to those who are among that small percentage. None of us (I, myself and my 3 children) get the annual flu vaccine as a result of my sons experience. Its a pretty debilitating illness. So I can relate to a certain degree.
