(491 posts)... I'm well past my 2nd shot and 'incubation' period but found that after 14 months of 'stuck at home' I had trouble deciding where I wanted to go first..... would have thought I'd managed to prioritize things better ....
... of course, the first few times out you find you're still a little skitzy about the whole experience...
... just remember, even if you're fully vaccinated; you're not bullet proof -- take care out there and stay wary
-- but you can actually smile at people now and they can see it....
kudos for getting your badge of honor - your shot is your 'love note' to society....

(24,676 posts)It is a good feeling, a great relief. You may yet get the Covids, but you will not be hospitalized for it, you will not die, you will not get "long-haul" disabilities from it.
I still wear a mask in stores, and still don't eat inside restaurants. Maybe that day will come. For now, I wear the mask and walk with confidence.
