Respect for the office overwhelms respect for the law, perhaps even when the most corrupt person in history occupied that office under a questionable election.

he was POTUS (and during), no? Since that has nothing to do with him being POTUS but rather his private business enterprises, then his having been POTUS *shouldn't* come into play, it would seem - but that isn't to say it won't and I have no idea how this crap works (not very well it seems).

I get 99% of us will dance thru the internet if he is indicted, but don’t think a majority of voters will.

But, that all depends what charges might be. If they find dead bodies or similar, that could change.
