If Joe Manchin really cared about saving our government

He would vote to end the filibuster, setup the Jan 6 commission, pass the infrastructure bill, and pass HR1....even if it cost him his seat in the next election..... heidi heitkamp, joe Donnelly, and Doug Jones showed more courage than him with their votes.

Him & Margarine (Lite) Tater Greene are nothing but publicity seeking whores. In their own ways, they both are doing the most harm to our Democracy.

They took principled stances regardless of the electoral consequences...

Edit - so a better strategy is to do nothing and lose the next time anyway

The better strategy is to stay in the fight, not hand a seat to a republican. News flash, Joe Manchin won his race the night D+onnely and Heitcamp went down.

Worried about January 6th 2024? Then don't be so quick to hand seats to Republicans

He'll milk it for all it's worth, country be damned. Sinema too, to a lesser degree.

Why was the toothbrush invented in West Virginia?

Because if it was invented anywhere else it would be called the teethbrush

Part of the problem with Manchin is that he's living in a world that no longer exists in politics.

And. You know damn well if he retires, a republican will take his place. There will never be
another democratic senator from WV. I'm sure the trumpicans are whispering in his shell like
ear, "come over to our side, you can have any committee you want." Problem is, it won't be
long before he's just another trumpican senator amongst many. Look at all the attention he's getting in the democratic party. He has them by, I believe the phrase is "the short and curlies"
and he knows it. I have a feeling Kristen Sinema will follow him in what he decides. I have mixed
feelings about the filibuster. I want it gone, but then I think about, what happens if we lose
the senate? Maybe they can at least tinker with it. I don't know. Apparently, neither does Joe
Manchin.
