Trump fomented that event for TWO MONTHS through word (tweets, speeches) and action (lawsuits, positioning Apparatchiks in the DOD). So did most of the GQP, and so did the RW Media.

They fomented gleefully and in violation of their oaths of office, preying on the addled minds of their misinformed voters. They colluded with Fascist thugs like Patriot Prayer, 3 Percenters, Proud Boys, etc. They had the DOD delay National Guards deployment.

We (DU) all pretty much know this, but many sleepy, busy, clueless Americans don't. The full story, in the context the FBI will never provide, would be damning to all but a few GQP like R-money and Liz Cheney and the others that voted to impeach or convict.

McConnell knows it. McCarthy knows it. Cruz & Hawley & Cotton know it. Even dipshits like Ron Johnson know it.

The FBI won't do anything about it, because it's not a crime (probably). The DOD will sweep it under a rug because it shows them to be corruptible and weak.

Mike Flynn's brother, who was IN THE ROOM turning down the requests, should be court-martialed, but I bet he quietly retires with full benefits.
