Manchin discussing how disappointed he is is high art.

Fuck him. He's not disappointed. This is exactly what he said he wanted: either the legislation would have enough votes to overcome the filibuster or the status quo was the better alternative. This is literally his argument for keeping the filibuster. So, he's saying this outcome is better than having it pass with just six Republicans instead of 10.

Fuck him.

They will track you down and alert any post that has even a hint of “bashing” this revered and respected Democratic statesman.

If DU was around in the 50’s and 60’s, I wonder if members would be expected to refrain from “bashing” Dixiecrat Dems like Strom Thurmond and George Wallace?

Frankly, I think a hide for calling out J.C. Joe for his obstruction of Biden’s agenda, and the resulting dismantling of American democracy, says more about the jurors than the poster.
