1. I'd think that a law allowing people to ban guns on their own property is not necessary...

2. Businesses in Nevada could already ban guns,
but the difference here is that the owner or representative of the business had to ask the person to leave first and if they refused, then they could be trespassed and if they still refused to leave, they could be arrested for refusing to leave after NRS 207.200 was read to them, now, they can be charged with a misdemeanor just for coming on the property.

3. Harrah's Reno (now defunct) had signs at every entrance
Saying weapons were not allowed even if you did have a permit.

but under the old law, the person had to be told to leave, now, under the new proposed law, they can be detained for LE and arrested just for bringing the weapon onto their property.
