DCCC has a great fundraising result. Justice Democrats thinks that's a problem (email)

“DCCC Has Best Ever April Fundraising Month”

it's hard to contend with the Democratic establishment because of how much corporate and Wall Street cash it brings in. That’s why we need a movement to transform the Democratic Party, and you to chip in to support our movement right now.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) said that it raised a whopping $12.2 million in April — the most it has ever raised in the month of April. The DCCC raises these huge sums of money from special interests determined to undermine progress. So much of DCCC support goes to corporate Democrats who want to stop Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. We have to stop this cycle.

We need to keep Democrats in control of Congress, but we desperately need to elect more working-class progressives who will really fight for working people. We need to elect more Democrats who will take bold stands for economic, social, racial, and environmental justice.

That’s what we’ve done ever since we helped elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the 9 other Justice Democrats in Congress. Now we need to elect even more of them.

We do it with zero corporate PAC donations and a lot less money than the DCCC. If we can raise just a tiny fraction of what the DCCC raised last month, we’ll be in a strong position to elect a wave of Justice Democrats to Congress who will fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and so much more.

raise Big Money. From Wall Street to Justice Democrats, it enables special interest groups to buy influence far beyond their actual numbers.

If only their first goal, upon which all other goals depend, didn't always have to be defeat of the liberal mainstream -- whose ideals and goals they profess to share. But that bizarre reality is defining.

Is that why they only ask for $27 or $3?
What is the donor limit that the FEC doesn't ask for an itemized accounting?

So a big PAC (or 4 Big PACS), corporate, or foreign entity can submit multiple small $ donations & not be accounted for?
Wasn't there a RW group that got caught doing this same thing with foreign money?

Can't recall the details of that matter.
Think it came about in tRump's 2020 run.

So much for "We don't take money from Big Donors". 🙄

I think a good definition of what constitutes a "right-wing Democrat" are those whose legislative records are so far to the right that they are out of step with the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

For example, March's vote on the minimum wage increase featured seven Democratic senators who chose to be on the right of Mark Kelly(?!) the issue: Jon Tester, Jeanne Shaheen, Maggie Hassan, Chris Coons, Tom Carper, as well as perennial favorites Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin. Angus King also voted against it.

Remarkably, only two House Democrats—Jared Golden and Kurt Schrader—voted against the minimum wage hike. That's how radical these rightwing Democrats are.

Hey George, we know it’s a holiday weekend, but we really needed to reach out to you again — one more time before the month is out.

Yesterday, we let you know that the DCCC raised a whopping $12.2 in April, pulling in big checks from corporate PACs and Wall Street.

If we raise just 1.1% of that in May (before midnight), we’ll stay on track towards defeating the special interests trying to stop progressive legislation like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. Can you chip in $3 before midnight?

When the Democratic Party is not aligned with the needs and opinions of its voters, Nina won’t stay silent. She’s ready to work with Pres. After all, during the Great Depression their sorts believed "the people" would support revolution, as was happening in other nations. Instead, Americans in large numbers supported the Democratic Party and our New Deal, and the long period of wellbeing that ushered in killed all chance for their dreams for the next 80-90 years.

Today's cohort of course believes their time came again, but as before the Democratic Party threatens to make people much too happy and secure to turn to fringe movements. Through deceits as massive as the RW's, they managed to stave off disaster in 2016 by convincing enough worried people that Hillary and the Democratic Party were as corrupt as Republicans, no choice at all.

Now, once again stupid majorities chose the Democratic Party (what is WRONG with us! ), and our actions are not just exposing all their deceits for what they are but threatening their dreams for hopefully the rest of their lives. Unfortunate for them, but that's the way it needs to be.

Itm, expect waves of lies. It's all they have.

One minute, one hour, one day, one month - you still will turn it around and project it all onto me. It won't be the first time, not even in this thread.

Have a great hour.

68. Corporate corporate CORPORATE as well as CORPORATE!!!!

I tune out when I hear that word used the same way the extremist right uses „Liberal!!!“

I sometimes contribute to the DCCC, though more often to individual Congresspeople I either know, or at least follow and approve of. I‘m not a corporation. If I don’t support a group that arrogantly calls itself „the Justice Democrats,“ as if any other Democrats I support are for injustice, well, we will have to disagree on just what „justice“ means to each of us. If they want to grab the exclusive rights on bloated righteousness away from so-called „Christian“ Republicans, I can‘t make them stop, but they can‘t make me applaud, either.

71. The latest Just US Democrat email is targeting a good Democrat

Jun 2021

The Just Democrats can not win in competitive districts and are targeting good democrats in safe district. Here is the Just Us Democrats latest target

And IL-7 is one of the most progressive districts in the country. There’s no excuse for 24-year-incumbent Rep. Danny Davis’s failure to lead on the transformational change his constituents need. Instead, he’s taking millions from corporate PACs and insurance companies and protecting his rich friends.

I may have to donate to Davis.

72. "taking millions" "protecting his rich friends" -- all they do is accuse Democrats of corruption

and never, ever any evidence. Saying something over and over makes it true! Everyone is corrupt because money corrupts everyone except us so SEND MONEY BUT JUST A LITTLE AT A TIME.

73. What a blatant lie. Danny Davis is NOT "taking millions from corporate PACs and insurance companies"
Tue Jun 1, 2021, 12:42 PM

They say stuff like this and unfortunately many people don't dig into the facts and believe this garbage.

In fact, in his district he's never raised more than about $500,000-$600,000 in any of his campaigns. That is NOT "millions"!

Plus, did it ever dawn on Just Us Democrats that the people of IL-07 are not interested in "transformational change" (WTF is that anyway?)?

I hope Just Us Democrats did their homework and saw that Danny Davis has been primaried every two years. In his last three primaries he won by 60-13, 74-26, and 81-19.

Unless THEY, Justice Democrats, pour millions of dollars into the primary (which they've done in the past) and run a dirty campaign they're not going to defeat Danny Davis.

The Just Us Democrats are lying about Danny Davis and are predicting that they will be out spent.

The Just Us Democrats are sad people who cannot flip a red seat to blue. I find their emails to be sad but funny

80. They target older, longer-term Democrats in safe blue District, start a smear campaign and hope....

....they get lucky. With all they've done in the last two cycles, they haven't shown much in the way of results.

Look at what their people (candidates AND operatives) are trying with Governor Andrew Cuomo. They get women either directly or peripherally to come forth with "allegations", but when it comes to putting their left hand on the Bible and raising their right hand, they refuse to testify.

Look at the first two members of Congress who called for Governor Cuomo to resign, and look at the Democratic primary candidate for Manhattan Borough President. All three are associated with Just Us Democrats.

89. I just got the third email of the day from the Just Us Democrats
Wed Jun 2, 2021, 12:48 AM
Jun 2021

These emails are getting annoying but I do love the desperation reflected by these emails. The Just Us Democrats have targeted another real Democrat and are upset that people are not rushing to waste their money on the Just Us Democrats latest loser. This passage makes me smile

Illinois’ 7th Congressional District is home to Chicago’s wealthy financial district, giant tech companies, and big real estate developments — while just a couple of miles away, the community struggles with unemployment, gun violence, and unsafe drinking water. Congressman Danny Davis has been a representative for health insurance companies, the real estate industry, and big corporations, not the Chicagoans that elected him. That is why we are excited about Kina’s people-powered campaign to defeat him.

It seems that the Just Us Democrats are worried which makes me smile

No matter, the next time they update their list from a purloined contact list given them by another campaign, I'm sure I'll get put back on.

...in their campaigns, they don't have a few dark money PACs and "LLCs" who trade money back and forth and pour money into campaigns indirectly.

But JUD sure as shit can throw out those false accusations, can't they?
