I guess as president some folks would pay attention. But as a disgraced loser it’s not very interesting for even his fan club.

because replying to him on his blog was not an option, not even after the curious and the dudebros looking for lulz had gotten bored and left. It was just a way to keep him busy while Parscale milked some more cash out of the cow.

But it wasn't, because his following is purely fake. If you followed him on Twitter, 90% of the responses were hate Tweets. People despised him on that platform. But he used the negative energy for his own gain and reach. By not being on the platform, it has no power.

He has to be livid that someone told him to make that blog and that his followers would give him the social media reach he desired.

must have found a tiny shred of soul left in himself and quit. Trump is not capable of putting words together in any way that makes sense. Most of his tweets, except the ones with the misspellings, were written by someone else. The man can't spell. He's very poorly educated (like his fan base). And there is the fact that it was a failure, regardless. His name means very little to anyone besides the GQP in DC.

I never read a word of it, I was just remembering the tweets that came out with no misspellings, proper punctuation, and no bizarre capitalizations. There were a lot of them. Given the difference between the word count of a tweet and a blog post, I did not see him able to maintain focus long enough to write a post, never mind making it readable!

Making this announcement just makes them look silly. If he just becomes a blog, then his comms people just start posting stuff to it under his name and no one ever gets embarrassed.

This seems like self immolation.

Repugs are backing a loser that more Americans move on from month by month. Any races that his backed candidates win in the future are already deep red so there is nothing to benefit from him.

39. Trump thought it would be a viral sensation.
Wed Jun 2, 2021, 05:03 PM

And was likely told as much by his circle of psychophants. They likely thought, he can't post on social media, but his followers would diligently make his comments there go viral. And they couldn't stop him then!

But of course, it is not the messenger but the platform that decides that. His social media following is especially shallow, with crazy insane people. The reason he had such a following in real life is solely because of the R behind his name. His followers are loud, yeah, but they are irrelevant on the scheme of things.

Poor Trump was so devastated his blog didn't have nearly the reach he thought it would. He likely ripped in to the people who suggested it would, and this was one last piece of his facade being crushed.
