Who cancels who?
The right boycotts football because some players take a knee as an exercise in free speech.
The right complains about protests from BLM and other groups, yet tries to cover up their own participation in actively trying to overthrow democracy.
The right racists cancel and refuse to acknowledge the history of slavery and black oppression in this country by controlling what is taught in schools.
The right racists cancelled the Indian culture and created a school to whitewash their ancestry, then cancelled their claim to their land and gave them little slices of the country that was stolen from them, so long as they don't complain when the government comes in and takes even more if they want it.
The racist right is cancelling the votes of millions in order to "secure" the elections.
The police unions in all cities are cancelling the rights of law abiding POC at every turn.
The homophobic right is cancelling the rights of LGBTQ+.
The reQuplicans are trying to cancel the memory of the insurrection.
The reQublicans are trying to cancel science based evidence.
The reQublicans are cancelling the truth.
The right does not want to hear what the left has to say, there is no dialogue, it has been cancelled.
It is time to take back the narrative. When the right claims they are the victims of cancel culture, it needs to be thrown back in their face. We are not cancelling anything. We, the sane people of this country, are trying to expose their cancellation of democracy.
It is past time to recognize who is doing the cancelling.
I plan on making damn sure I confront it whenever I encounter it.
I'm tired of being cancelled.
