The Senate in 2001

Wow, just 20 years ago Democrats had both seats in West Va, South and North Dakota, Florida, and Louisiana...and also had one seat in Arkansas, South and North Carolina, Montana, Missouri, Nebraska, Indiana and Iowa.....that’s 26 seats that seem to be solidly Republican now....and even then the senate was 50/50.

Same could be said about red senators. 2 repugs in Vermont, 2 in Pennsylvania, 2 in New Hampshire, 2 in colorado, 2 in Arizona, 2 in Virginia, 2 in Maine, Rhode Island (1), Nevada (1), Illinois(1), Oregon (1), New Mexico (1).

I find it interesting the flips in a lot of the country. I guess we’ll see more as time goes on.
