You can call me an alarmist a

troll a concerned citizen or a basher of the Democratic Party but unless I start seeing some real action from the DOJ regarding the Mueller report, the election crime happening in Arizona, a investigation into those responsible for the Capitol insurrection, the crimes of trump and the trump family, Rudy , Flynn, Barr etc. etc I will come to the conclusion that the Democratic Party will again allow crimes by our government officials to be swept under the carpet. We're not talking bad behavior here we are talking crimes/treason. I've been fooled too many times to think otherwise.

It takes a long time to build airtight cases against powerful people. We want the case to be as solid as possible to ensure conviction. Now, if a year from now we’re not seeing any action, then yes, your points would be correct.

nothing is being done now? Do you believe that investigators would make their evidence, methods, contacts and interviews available to the general public in order to tip off suspects so the subjects of investigation can cover their tracks?

I share your alarm that the growing fascist movement in the US needs to be halted. Indictments and trials of criminals will contribute to their demise. But if you are as anxious about them as I am, you, yourself, can help to halt the spread of ideologies that would overthrow democracy in the US. You can support candidates who oppose the RW politicians. You can do phone calls for them from a distance, even if they are not in your area. Just contact their campaign headquarters or your local Dem office to find out what you can do to help them.

Learn about the issues of the Dem candidates and spread them on social media. Contact Dem representatives in the House and Senate to let them know the issues you are concerned about.

And don't assume that nothing is being done about investigations just because you have not been taken into the personal confidence of the investigators to know what evidence they are accumulating and what private interviews they are conducting. Think about local crimes in your community. What DA worthy of the title reveals the details of an investigation while it is ongoing?

Have moved from civil to criminal. A grand jury is currently meeting to hear evidence to such

Watch Glen Kirschner on YouTube, you can sometimes find his videos posted here as well. As a former federal prosecutor he knows why it moves so slowly, and does a good job of explaining it.

Besides, the last thing they want to do is rush this and have the case overturned due to not enough evidence

of ‘wait and see’. The Arizona situation is so absurd. If Dems had tried to pull off something like that the GOP would have made a filing to the Supreme Court within an hour. I am certain the GOP would have moved aggressively to stop it and succeeded.

When Legislature rolls out a Bill allowing that Legislature to change an election result.....we’re in increasing jeopardy of a slide into Autocracy.

I think Mansion is worried more about his reelection chances that doing what is necessary to hold on to our democracy.

We are so, so close to a bad place.

When you were a prosecutor, who quickly did you deliver indictments?

“We know he’s guilty”isn’t the way criminal justice works.

...doesn't mean action is not being taken. I know, I'm afraid too, but at least we're moving in the right direction. My greatest fear is that the action we take, the crimes revealed, won't matter to enough people to make a difference in the next election cycle.

The wheels of justice turn slowly, and you're going to see the foot soldiers face it long before the courts nibble up the food chain to the generals. Remember, it took 30 years to put Pinochet away. I doubt it will take that long here, but it most likely happen during Biden's term.

What troubles me more is that idiot Manchin's betrayal on the voting rights bill. Just what is that colossal jackass playing at?

What I got was a lot of well what would you do. Tell us what YOUR plan is etc, etc, etc.

I guess our points are similar I don't want to be sitting here "five months" from the election and hoping the Dems can hold on to power and possibly gain some Senate seats.

So I hope you and I and OTHERs are driven to say 'we told you so'!

The current Governor of my state announced he is going to run again...so I donated money to his campaign.

I want the Dems to win and straighten out the mess but it is hard to not get frustrated when history tells us the Repugs will DO ANYTHING to WIN and we let DINO's rule the day.

Do you work there? Do you know someone who does?

Prosecutors don't show their hands during their investigations and planning. DOJ officials also don't tell the media the step-by-step process they are using to build their case.

We all want action on these things. New York state has empaneled Grand Juries already. What is the DOJ doing? You tell me. They're not leaking what they're doing to the media. They don't want the other side to know where they are.

You can be alarmed, if you like. However, unless you are in a position to know what is happening inside the DOJ, or are in a position to influence people in the DOJ, you're going to have to wait, just like the rest of us. Being alarmed, however, will not change anything that is happening. It just frustrates you.
