Technically under the rules of evidence, Snopes would not qualify as a expert under the rules of evidence and their opinion would not be admissible in a court of law. They have no special expertise in evaluating the same picture that the rest of us are looking at. Why should anyone care about their opinion?

I just saw the photos for the first time. Even close up I do not see a Zipper placket. Zippers without plackets would be even more visible but I do not know how you could house a zipper in mens pants without a placket and that is something that is always at least a little visible. I do not see one at all.
