Need to use simpler language. Nullification is IMO too convoluted. Republicans are trying to cancel votes.

Republicans are continuously squawking about cancel culture. So, turn it around on them in language they understand.

The GOP is attempting to cancel voters, cancel democracy, cancel America.

Let 'em stew in that pot!

for the entire 18+ years that I've been reading posts here.

It seems like a complete no brainer and it's incomprehensible to me that our party still hasn't figured it out.

I fear at this point that it may already be too late, but FFS, can't they at least look like they're even bothering to try?

isn't the worst of the bills being passed. Even candidates with the most votes aren't assured of winning.

Voter Nullification is not too complex.

The problem is that the GQP is playing to a radicalized base of zealots who are willing to die rather than admit something they were told to oppose is actually good for them.

Vaccines. Voting Rights. Public Health maintenance efforts. Racial equality. Equitable taxation. Access to healthcare.

In every single one of those issues, the Fox-box speaketh and the mouth-breathers regurgitateth.
There is no point trying to save these people from themselves or their aberrant owners in the Fox-box control structure.

They are impervious to truth or facts or science or rational thought. They are mono-syllabic morons, being led to slaughter like the obedient sheep - or maybe lemmings - they appear to resemble.

When the insane will no longer consent to government of, by and for ALL the people, then the experiment has failed and its time to cull the herd once more. A democratic representative republic is the single best AND worst thing in world history. Undeniably superior to all other forms of governance, and yet still inadequate for a bunch of barely evolved savannah apes to apply judiciously.

When the power of love exceeds the love of power, the world will know peace. We are light years away from that chance currently...

Our biggest problem is that we refuse to fight fire with fire, too much high road / high ground nonsense in the midst of a life or death street brawl. It is not the words, its the lack of repetition and follow up. Our ability to accept and process nuance hurts here too.

The GQP hangs a controversy around a Democratic pol like an albatross and then keeps adding the same lines over and over and over like a mantra to the trained seals of the base; who dutifully repeat the bleating to each other and keep the message fomenting.

Our problem is not the words, its entirely the willingness to fight in the mud based on a misplaced faith in decorum and reason that has been drummed out of the no-longer loyal opposition.

We insist on bringing a knife to the gun fight and then can't fathom why we keep getting shot.

forget the nuance and hammer them relentlessly.

Use negative ads, use attack ads...they use them because they think we won't.

Want to bring civility back to politics? Use their tactics against them for a while.
