Manchin knows what he's doing to our Democracy,

By using his excuse of having to have bipartisanship, or he'll vote to allow Republicans to strip millions of Americans of their right to vote, and give republicans the option to overturn any election results they want to. Why? That needs to be answered why he's knowingly doing this to people in his state, and the rest of the people in this country.
He's handing them the ability to control elections not by bipartisan actions, but by partisan people, which will cause many Democrats to lose more elections, and power. They won't be bipartisan doing that either, and he knows that. What's his real motive behind doing this to us , and our country now? Is he being bought off, or has he been corrupted by trump and putin? We deserve to know the truth behind his actions.

For resisting support for the voting rights bill, they'll make sure he wins his elections with their control over election results.

Manchin is ignorant of history. He does not understand that the 14th and 15th Amendments have never been fully implemented. And if he understood, he likely would not care anyway.

Manchin is afraid of a Republican challenger in deep-red WV.

Maybe he has received assurances from McConnell that, if he goes along with them, they will not oppose his re-election . . . he's a DINO.

Remember -- it was Manchin's daughter who was the CEO of the pharma company that increased the price of epi pens to the point that no one could afford them. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

The only question now is: Will the name "Manchin" join the name "Quisling" in the pantheon of traitors?

Poll Shows Manchin Wildly Out Of Step With West Virginia Voters On Voting Rights Bill - Rachel Maddow - MSNBC

Rachel Maddow shares details from a new poll that shows West Virginia voters of all political stripes are very supportive of the For The People Act to protect voting rights, which makes it all the more odd that Senator Joe Manchin, who represents West Virginia, does not. Aired on 06/07/2021.

I have been trying to contact Sinemas office multiple times with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE.
Democrats in my district are fucking fed up with her. There is no point anymore. Whether they are just plain stupid or are being paid off doesn't matter anymore. (I vote STUPID since what the hell do they think is going to happen to the filibuster if Moscow Mitch takes over the Senate???????)

What we need to do is elect enough Democratic senators in other states (53 or 54 at last count) so we can then tell Manchin and Sinema to go fuck themselves.

They both crave attention, power, and money, and screwing over millions of voters out of their votes is of no concern of these two.

8. I think...

... he wants to get reelected. If there is no Libertarian next time, he will lose. He may lose, anyway... I also don't think he can win as a Republican - don't think the WV primary voters would trust him. So, it boils down to votes. There are not 60 votes... there are a few Republicans, bot not ten... it would have to be filibuster, which he has always opposed. I think, if there were nine Republicans, he'd be on board. So, he feels he needs to vote his own interests if his vote makes no difference. I think that's his calculation. We should stop focusing on him - where are there other votes? Run this ad... work the people. Maybe there are seven possible... target a few more.

... to a point. He could do that...

... but if we need 60 votes and don't even have 55, let him vote "Nay" and keep the seat blue. If we have 59 and need his vote, I expect something different.
