(12,330 posts)why would Democrats listen to ex-shithole and his cult?
There are going to spew shit no matter what and besides republicans don't give a shit about immigrants nor the border except when it suits them.

she won't let briefings become a "forum for propaganda" with fringe outlets like OAN in the room.
She cites her past experience as State Dept. spox dealing with Russian / Chinese outlets that helped prep her with how to engage with such outlets.
That explains her No BS chops!

(82,849 posts)Nothing new there, but they're keying on Vice President Harris' interview in Guatemala with Lester Holt of NBC News, and wondering why Vice President Harris isn't going to the border. "Don't they have a point?"
Press Secretary Psaki first says that the administration is not looking to the former guy for guidance on how to solve the border problems the former guy created. The administration is also not interested in hearing from congressional Republicans who sat mute and inactive while the former guy was bollixing things up so badly. If those Republicans have something constructive to contribute, the White House is certainly willing to talk with them.
As for Harris, the Vice President is carrying out the job that she's been assigned, meeting with leaders in the Central America Triangle and talking to them about corruption and oppression. Psaki does not have any current information on whether Harris will go to the border some time in the future, but that could happen if the administration thinks it's a good idea. Just because Republicans are bitching about something, the administration doesn't feel that compels them to do anything just to satisfy them.

(15,325 posts)I have no tech expertise to troubleshoot or know why others can't get it to work.
Apologies, but I have no answer.
