California Republican gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner on Thursday refused to answer a very simple, fact-based question: Did Donald Trump win or lose the election?
"I want to ask you something," co-host Joy Behar asked Jenner on ABC's "The View," "something that's important for me to know. You say that you're a Republican and I'm just wondering because a lot of Republicans in this country believe that Donald Trump won the election and not Joe Biden. Are you one of those people one of those Republicans?"
Jenner refused to answer.
"I'm not going to get into that. That election is over with. I think Donald Trump did some good things and what I liked about Donald Trump is he, he was a disrupter when he was president, I want to do the same thing. I want to go in and be a thoughtful disrupter, in Sacramento. We need to change the system, and I want to change that system for the positive."

olitics in California_ last Sat night. Discovered it a couple of months ago. The host is apparently a Fox guy out of LA (pgm is on ABC) and he has both liberals and conservatives on.
Anyway, he got so exasperated trying to get her to give at least one specific response. She is clueless about -everything- and gave only rambling general comments. Was painful. But I have to give it to the interviewer, he tried!

(36,594 posts)She is dreadful. We already saw this movie with Gray Davis. Republicans made the state a mess in a few short years. It took Dems to fix it. We have a HUGE surplus.

(55,334 posts)Most rich people live in a bubble. Someone who's been a celebrity for 40+ years and never hears the word "no" from lackeys and entourages isn't going to do well in the spotlight. At least Ah-nold did his homework before launching his campaign. But he was a Rockefeller Republican, rather than a rock-head Republican

(27,834 posts)Pretty much her every word spoken had nothing to do with the question she had been asked. It showed how ridiculously inept and unprepared she is, as a candidate.

(96,943 posts)Sure, people want to reject that statement. People want to feel good about their country/state and think their country/state is better than that - I understand. I'd like to think reasonable people will win out. I'd like a lot of things.
Yet - Boebert, Gohmert, Greene, Mo Brooks, Trump, Gaetz, Ron Johnson, Jim Jordan and the list goes on.

(11,111 posts)Never prepared for a job interview in her life. Just like trump and many, many others that are trying to, or have gotten into politics hoping to capitalize on fame rather than qualifications and a real desire to do the job.
does she think that's going to work during the campaign?
