The first to reach 70% herd immunity. Not sure how they got to that .Doesn’t sound like it’s the same thing.

...includes those still having limited immunity because they actually had COVID.
Not getting the shot because "I already had COVID" is high on the list of excuses for the vax avoiders.
But, I'm pretty sure having COVID recently & not having the vax is included in the herd %. I know that's what they said about here in Illinois on WGN news.

Add in those that have some limited immunity from having already being infected, and they might have really tamped things down.
Nothing's permanent, but this seems awfully good news.

Safeway now has signs up allowing vaccinated "Associates" and customers to go unmasked.

No one was unmasked.

I must admit I thought about it!
