What kind of investigation should it be?

From listening to out-raged Democrats, it is almost assured that the latest revelations will be investigated. But, by whom?

It is too hot and partisan to be done by a Congressional Committee. It would accomplish very little.

Perhaps they will get the Intelligence IG to investigate it? But how do we know which IG is still in the pocket of Donald Trump?

Perhaps the AG could name a "Special Counsel" but that might interfere with other criminal investigations? Garland would probably not be inclined to do that?

So, what is the best way to get to the bottom of this?

1. Special Counsels answer to the AG as part of the DOJ. *They* are the ones who are accused --

or at least that is implied/insinuated -- of wrong-doing. So saying a Congressional committee is too politicized is laughable in light of the alternative -- that the DOJ investigate itself!!!

The best way to get to the bottom of it is something which will NEVER happen. That would be for the House Judiciary Committee to immediately begin an investigation coordinated with President Biden instructing the DOJ to fully and immediately comply with every request, records or testimony, that the committee makes. No privilege, no obfuscation, no concealment, no delays, no protecting each other or former people. Any failure to be met with immediate termination.

2. Totally open and televised investigation/hearing for the public to learn who/what was involved.

Our government is totally off its axis and can only be fixed when the Trump administration's shenanigans are cleaned up.

That said, no hearing should be allowed with the usual participants like Gym Jordan, Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, Kennedy and their ilk. All they do is ask ridiculous questions that don't allow any revelations to come out that would harm the Repuke party. They don't want correction they only want obstruction and are very good at it.

Some of the original DOJ people are still there, aren't they? Time to clean them out.

I can't believe this didn't come out sooner or even happened to begin with.

3. To investigate you need about 3 special counsels,

So many different things to check out.
Then you need a Nuremberg type of trail.
Charge Abuse of power, Obstruction and
Crime against the people of the USA. All
should be arrested that's involved.
But what will get is, Blah Blah Blah.

4. I would settle for a very transparent investigation

If people in the government are checking out other people in the government, then we have not grown much since Nixon and his enemies list.

If crimes were committed and it feels like they might have. We need people to face up to what they did and if we don't know what they did, we need too!
