4. I just do not understand how humanity is ever able to allow these things to happen.

How do 215 children die. They don't they are murdered!
This cultural genocide occurred for 80 years. Understand that the 215 dead children are from ONE internment camp.

5. I don't know what causes people to be evil, but every society has them.

But no society has to nurture hatred and evil. I place much blame on religion because much that is evil has been done in the name of religion.
