These Days, I Think Of George Carlin A Lot

"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

I can't believe he's been gone 13 years. He would have had a field day with the last administration.

“Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money.”

He really became the "Stand-Up Philosopher" like comedians were called in the "Rome" part of "History Of The World Part 1."

But I really miss Hunter S. Thompson. I can only imagine what he would have said about Trump.

But he sure seemed angry near the end of his life....

I would have loved to hear his thoughts about the bizarre times we're living in now. Same for Christopher Hitchens come to that.
