I'm closing in on 50k myself! Well, sort of closing in.
At 10-15 posts per day, I'm really about 5 months from it! LOL!
But, congrats on hitting 50,000.

I almost missed it because I don't often look at my post count.

And thanks. This has been a place of refuge during many transitions I have been through in the past several years from relocating to being homeless and back to living like normal people, DU has always been there for me when I needed to catch up on what's going on and the personal moral support has meant more than I can articulate properly.

I retired about three years ago and that was when I really started posting a lot. Otherwise, I'd be at something like 25k, maybe.

And the former guy's placement in the Oval Office really fired me up.
