At some point should NBCUniversal register FARA?
Just thinking out loud here.
Question for the media industry: To which networks did Mark Burnett - producer of The Apprentice - pitch his reality shows that would have featured Vladimir Putin?
NBC? ABC? CBS? Or all three?
Seriously, we could use an answer.

"The superproducer behind 'Sarah Palins Alaska' wants to create 'a series of shows from the eyes of leaders of nations.' Following Putin? Fidel Castro."
Funny how this Burnett fellow was so warmly received in the media industry for his efforts to support violent autocracy.

Wouldn't it be nice if the "news" had some minimal journalistic morals to go along with their soapbox?
It's probably a good thing that we'll never be able to really regulate the news, but it might be worth pondering how to encourage telling the truth, fact checking, calling out lies and covering stories of actual importance.

Don't see them becoming cheerleaders for Burnett. May be a major demarcation line between entertainment and politics...... how will it play out? I hope this media corporation isn't trying to out-fox Fox....
