The questions are Crowley's choice

Don't be fooled by the "from the audience" bullshit. Hundreds of people write questions and then she (or a team of some sort) picks the 15-20 questions that make for the debate she wants—the topics she thinks important, the tone she thinks appropriate.

The technicality that each question is written by a member of the audience is like me claiming this post was written by the dictionary.

All I did was chose which words in the dictionary to use.

I thought they went in to the audience and people asked questions directly.

I hope the Obama team was aware of this tho.

crowley will fudge the questions to fit her rightwing asshole side. this is her moment and she won't let the Koch's down.

but Obama is smarter than a thousand of her.

That's how it usually is in town halls.

But it is predetermined which audience members will be called on, based on whether Crowley & co. thought their questions were good.

Example—in a random town hall of undecided voters you might go 90 minutes with no question about Libya. But out of 100s of submitted questions there will be one about Libya and it will be asked.

not like her demeanor, she seemed smug and well, very GOP! Wish we had Martha Raddatz.

Raddatz's was too focused on foreign policy. And Raddatz showed her bias or ignorance by framing her question that Social Security is an entitlement program and that is going bankrupt.
We deserve much better than this in our presidential debates.
