‘Really sad.’ Adults fight at Eastern Kentucky Little League game. Charges possible.

Things got ugly at a Little League championship game in Eastern Kentucky Monday when parents and coaches got into a fight, and now some involved could face criminal charges.

Video of the incident shared to Facebook shows more than a dozen adults on the baseball field, some of whom are shouting obscenities at each other.

“It’s really sad these kids that played hard all season and put their hearts on that field didn’t get to finish their championship game because ‘adults’ wanted to act like this,” Destani Renaye Knox wrote in a Facebook post, which included a video of the altercation.

Another video of the incident shared in a Facebook comment appeared to show one man throw his hat on the ground while in an argument with several others before another man rushed in, shoved people and took his shirt off.

These idiots act like the spoiled toddler who thinks they are entitled to toys because they are there in the store.

failed to grow up, and thus so many of them today are mentally and emotionally like children. I won't wear a mask, you can't make me! I won't get a vaccine because the Democrats want me to! I just want a president who will own the libs! I assaulted/shot him because he made me mad! I don't like that my guy lost, so I'm going to take a shit in the Capitol building! And so on.

but there's just so many of these people now. Maybe day-to-day life got too easy for us, too much idle time, I don't know.

Everything is going according to plan. faux news, RW hate radio. Rethugs war on knowledge, compassion. Its going to take decades to recover. If we do at all.

Many years ago and former LA Ram linebacker settled in our town after he retired. My friend was a Pony League player so I attended some of his games. The former Ram was a wild man at the games but at least stayed in the bleachers. However, late in the season in a crucial situation, his son struck out on a called third strike.

The guy went ballistic, ran down the steps to field level screaming at the ump, then after some words he ran onto the field and flattened the ump. As the guy stood over him, the other ump and the coaches ran to home plate to try to subdue the ump. He was banned from city parks and charged with assault. Very scary scene as the guy could’ve kklled the ump.

I remember seeing one of these brawls out of Ohio a few years ago. Sickening wherever it happens.

A friend of mine said years ago that "Most people stop growing emotionally when they're in eighth grade."

Some exaggeration, but I don't think he was wrong with a capital W.
