#BREAKING Officer Fanone just ran into @Rep_Clyde at Capitol (he’s the “Jan 6 was a typical tour” guy). Fanone introduced himself as “someone who fought to defend the Capitol” and put out his hand. Clyde refused to shake it. To honor Trump, @housegop will dishonor the police.

18. There's something about this that I don't understand.

A normal tour of the Capitol, by, say, a busload of tourists from Akron, results in extensive damage, disgusting defilement, police officers injured and one beaten to death? You'd think that after 5 or 6 tours like that, a pattern would be apparent, and they'd either stop conducting tours, or add security. Something.

You'd also think that an expert so well versed in the situation, such as Clyde, could offer his expertise in mitigating the problems.

They should remember this encounter. All the Bally-Hoo over supporting the 'thin blue line' is Republican lip service. Clyde is a perfect example of this. Officer Fanone could have easily died on January 6th. In fact, he's said he thought he was going to end up dead. On the other hand, Clyde claims the insurrectionists were tourist-like though his expression of sheer terror on that day refutes the comment.

These men are lying seditionists who will sell their soul to protect their leader, the wanna-be autocrat with the bad hairpiece.
