Trump will be voted SPEAKER of the House.

They will do this for several reasons:

1) Trump will agree NOT to run for POTUS in 24. He gets to impeach Biden, maybe 3 times in 2023. He gets to sit behind Biden and next to Kamala at the SOTU and tear up the speech on camera. He gets to roll his eyes and make faces. Maybe flick boogers or fart?

2) Trump doesn't REALLY want to be POTUS again. It was a shitty experience for him and he's not getting any younger.

3) GOP really wants to run Trump in a Skirt... someone like Kristi Noem. She's a good matchup for Kamala, especially if Kamala's poling doesn't improve (see latest YouGov polls)

4) Then he'll resign in 23/24 to let McCarthy be Speaker.
