We did Father’s Day things with a slew of huggy-kissy relatives, some of whom are still vaccine-hesitant. I was so happy to be there.
Then I opened up DU late this morning and read that Dr Feigl-Ding says Variant D is super-super transmissible, hubby shared that one of his co-workers says COVID is spreading worryingly back home in Taiwan, and (of course) there’s a DU-newbie saying Feigl-Ding is “a clown.”
So all normal here, eh?
all but the wee ones fully vaxed. It was just mom and by sisters kids and families. I admit, it was great to see and hug them all.
We are kind of short on fathers here, my dad and BIL died six years ago, within 2 weeks of each other. 
I saw that thread first thing, read the newbies post and decided not to comment. If people had listened to Fauci and CDC then we would be where we are with so many dead. 
I will listen to all the Dr's and their dire warnings and not the ones like 'Scarf Lady' that tried to down play it. This variant is frightening and should not be ignored. I still where a mask when out and will continue to do so.
