Perhaps he wrote the report you read.
The other guy said Weisellberg needs to be careful because Vance is pursuing this as a legacy investigation. Apparently he's planning to retire when his term is up.
So, the whole segment was a big "maybe, maybe not".

get paid to take advantage of every loophole and ambiguity in finances.

To prosecute trump criminally, they’ll have to prove trump knew about and endorsed criminal activity. That’ll be tough. I’m not hopeful, but will dance if it happens.
