Trump consistently uses a negative dog metaphor to demean or belittle someone or something. For example, he claimed that a political opponent "sweats like a dog." Dogs don't sweat; they pant to relieve their body heat. When Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed by American Special Forces, Trump said, "He died like a dog."

Hey, Trump, you stupid asshole. Dogs don't die because an American Special Forces unit shoots the defenseless animal. They die from neglect or malnourishment.

In the event of someone else's failure, Trump calls them losers and dogs.

Trump doesn't like canines and it's typical of his inhumanity. Dogs are humans' best friends in the animal kingdom. Here's a slightly corny but historically accurate explanation of how wolves evolved into dogs through their interactions with humans. It's from Neil deGrasse Tyson's version of "Cosmos."

It makes a lot of sense.
