(26,403 posts)She did not try and talk from on-high to them, she created an organization which went to each and every GA county. Made the outreach local.

(16,157 posts)The old fashion way of face to face.. town halls. She n her volunteers spread out to every corner. The dot com was just as important. I love her n admire her determination to make lemonade out of the lemons she was given after her defeat. In the end.. she is and always be a winner. Baptized by fire as we say here

(52,155 posts)GA and NC are somewhat similar states that had quite dissimilar results in 2020 (NC Dems lost both Senate and President and a majority of other state wide races we went 4 and 11 while GA Dems won all three statewide races) so on the surface it looks like she worked a miracle. But if you dig deeper you see that may not be the case. NC had a higher voter turn out in 2020 (71 vs 67), NC has a whiter electorate (75 vs 60), and a less AA one (22 vs 32).
The fact is, GA just became more Democratic. Now, she certainly did a good job organizing, no doubt about that. But if GA had the same percentages that NC did, the results of their elections would have been the same as ours. I do think, barring cheating, we should see decent results if Biden's numbers don't tank. Trump voters seem to only be willing to vote when Trump is on the ballot, similar to Obama voters who behaved the same way. In those elections states will need their own versions of Stacey Abrams because they will be turnout fights.
