Anybody who is interested in voting for Sliwa would not be deterred by him associating with Gioulianni. If probably helps him. The guy is running on 1 issue, and that is crime, which has been his niche in NYC since the 70's. And that alone is what would make him a terrible mayor, he only cares about 1 thing. So while he would clean up the city, he would suck on everything else.
