Listen its not to everyones liking but its a deal that can be passed and it will be a political boon for Biden. They will be two bills passed one through reconciliation and the other through the regular procedure. I predict the one going through reconciliation is going to be what progressives want.

Only way around it is if the republicans who are for this compromise, back away, then we have a chance to write our own because Manchin and Sinema cant justify bipartisanship

Unless the 5 Rs know for sure the names of at least 5 other Rs who plan to defy McConnell and vote for this bi-partisan compromise, then the who exercise is pointless.

More than just Manchin and Sinema, i think every single Dem in that gang of 22 or whatever it is, will not support a reconciliation bill in favor of the bi-partisan one.
