Corporate criminal indictments.

Just wondering out loud how common are corporate criminal indictments, and how often they are paired with individual criminal indictments for the company's officers.

I recall Arthur Andersen--the accounting firm for Enron back in the early 00s--was indicted and ultimately convicted for its faulty accounting practices, although I think it was overturned on appeal.

I would think a criminal indictment of a corporation would have severe implications on both that business as well as its officers.

1. The ruling was overturned on a techniclity, bad juror instructions. I think there was more than

government case against Arthur Anderson ultimately they were out of business.

They said “The LLC”; limited liability corporation. I’m sure many rich people feel that way.
