How anyone could not want to get vaccinated is absurd...I don't understand why. How could people be

We have eliminated small pox, polio, & many others....Some people think exactly what you said..."We
don't need to take a vaccine, we are not going to need it"..

And this is way into the pandemic....With 600,000 deaths....

Every year about 35,000 deaths due to auto accidents....Why do people put on seat belts?....Way down
from the late 70s when there were 55,000 deaths & close to 1/2 the population today.....

Why do people put on seat belts in cars?
...Wear helmets when riding bikes?...Deaths are way down...not way up...

... I wonder if anyone knows someone who refuses to get the vaccine,...........yet is
more than willing to put on a seat belt every time they ride in a car..and always wear a helmet when
riding a bike?

Lots of people believe RW media...Not the first time, and not the last time..
...Teaching how to see through lies is not easy...I tried to teach that idea when I taught in high school
in Chicago over 20 years ago...Believe me ....It ain't easy...

...The lessons were difficult and somewhat tedious. Over and Over Again I tried to teach students to
see through lies. All kinds of lies..(consumer lies, political lies, historical lies....etc..)

One idea was to read in total a new car contract...Then when we got to the very bottom of the contract,
we read in small print where the dealer has the right to come on your property if you stop payments and take the car back.
..... You have given the dealer the right to take the car back, come on your property in
order to do so if you fail to fulfill terms of the new car contract...Note..that section was in small print
on the backside of the contract which a person signs..(like miss a payment as the contract says)

..I also showed propaganda films from the rise of Hitler and other sources that tried to see through lies
and more lies...Yes, it was not easy, but I feel I did a good job and tried my very best..A few students
recall my efforts but that was a long time ago......

Yes, they will cite the prevalence of malinformation and RW disinformation contributing to the willfull ignorance. But they will also have to factor in that some who made the decision to ignore the dangers of Covid also made the decision to be willfully ignorant at the same time.
