Frappes have the ice cream milk and syrup and then mixed with a blender.

(57,757 posts)It's either a milkshake or a malt. Ice cream, flavor, and milk is a milkshake. Add malt powder and it's a malt. I have always preferred malts.
I've lived in the South, the SE, the West, and the Midwest, and it's always that way.

(23,694 posts)I keep telling my husband he needs to stop drinking Diet Dr Pepper!
He eats far too many carbs and I am certain the diet drinks are the reason
He likes unsweetened iced tea but even if I make it he still consumes mass quantities of Diet Dr
There are a lot of other reasons to ditch the diet drinks but I can't remember them all.
I never did like them; my diet drinks are unsweetened tea and water

(132,211 posts)You take a one inch slab of feta and put it in the middle. Add another 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil on and under the feta. Add pepper. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes (lid off). When you take it out of the oven stir in 2 tsp chopped garlic and stir into tomatoes. Let cook for 1 minute. Stir the feta till it breaks apart in the tomatoes. Add the zoodles and stir. Makes enough for 4 servings. You don't need salt because there is enough salt in the feta. I like goat feta myself. I know people who add shrimp or onions. There are many versions online but they all suggest cooked pasta instead of zoodles. Zoodles are better for you and they make for more of a sauce because there is water in zuchinni. Tastes great as a leftover too.

(15,802 posts)Process the zucchini, check. Llke you said, a bit of garlic and oil. I threw in some sautéed onion, mushrooms, and bit of tofu. Holly crap was that delicious!!!! It had the "bite" of pasta and a really nice flavor... Ok I'm hooked. Off to the store and get more zucchini

(55,137 posts)I love soft chocolate with wet walnuts, jimmies (Phila's version of choc sprinkles) and whipped cream. I gained 10 pounds that summer. Best job I ever had. Yum!!!!
The only bad part was when someone ordered a choc dipped cone (dipped into melted choc). Every single time my ice cream fell into the choc and everyone had to run over with spoons to scoop it out. Once a baseball team came by...all wanted dipped cones.

(36,931 posts)But when we go out for an ice cream it is soft serve.
So, I chose that as my fave.

(63,221 posts)I actually prefer gelato or sorbet to hard ice cream. I like fruitier flavors and it's not easy to find fruit flavored ice cream. Not any that is very good, anyway.
There is an ice cream place here called Emack and Bolio's and they have this great machine where they take their hard pack ice cream and add fresh fruit to it (berries, bananas, etc.) and put them through the machine together to make a fresh fruit flavored soft serve. I think they only do vanilla and chocolate, but it is sooooo good! They are a chain, but there aren't many of them around.
All this ice cream talk is really making me starting to crave ice cream!

I actually like soft serve in certain situations, I just prefer hard ice cream in large part because you get so many more flavor choices.

(76,703 posts)Only because it depends on how I'm feeling about it at the time.
Sometimes, I really want soft serve.
Other times, I'd much rather have packed.
And, I almost never do the cone.
Even with soft serve, I get it in a cup.
