(22,123 posts)I actually don't think he will talk. He is one bitter hard cold old man. Take a look at the photo here, https://www.democraticunderground.com/100215576870

(40,166 posts)Apparently, his chief goal in life was to please Shitstain, who almost certainly still has a hold on him. Hes thinking by the time he has exhausted all options a Trump acolyte will have regained the White House and hell be pardoned. If that doesnt pan out then he can always revisit his strategy.
He's being charged with State, not Federal crimes. No Trump acolyte in the WH can help him.

(40,166 posts)Pivot to other inducements that will keep him on the team, ie threats from any number of pro-Trump sources.

(16,853 posts)Just my guess. I bet the charges -- and thereby the penalty he is risking by going to trial -- will be underwhelming.

(33,424 posts)--which has been reported so far -- there would not be much reason to talk. Those charges are not prticuolarly serious at the federal level.

Drumpf won't be indicted.
Those are my predictions. Hope to be proven wrong, but I know that this is America.

(54,770 posts)What exactly do we think Weisselberg will say that will take trump down? So far, it sounds like a few people in the Organization will get hit with avoiding taxes by not reporting some taxable perks.

(36,575 posts)Weisselberg was never as crazy as the people he worked for.
On the other hand, it's possible that the DA can make this case without Weisselberg's testimony. How much evidence do they really have? Maybe it's enough to take them all down.
We'll see.

(51,597 posts)condo deal gifted by Trump or something else that is related. The son's former wife is blabbing to the prosecutors so the house of cards is going to collapse. If Weisselberg protects Trump and goes to jail he's one of the stupidest people on earth. Trump will not be elected again and there will be no pardon. Weisselberg will end up dying in jail.

(22,455 posts)so grifting requires the assistance of many people who later can turn state's evidence. I wonder if that wasn't the original thinking back in the 1780's.

(16,521 posts)wringer already says Weisselberg will flip. Says Weisselberg doesn't know how much pressure the prosecutors can apply when they want to do so.
