Someone didn’t suddenly figure out how to upload vaccinations that happened a while ago into the system and that’s what we are seeing? I know this was the explanation for a spike in my state last week.

9. Good question...

I know in my state (WA) the VA and DoD were not notifying the state health department about who got vaxxed at VA facilities and on base. That kept them from getting complete data on percentage of vaxxed individuals in the state.

Haven't heard any updates, though there was an article that they would be cooperating better because the vets and actives were not being included in the state vax lottery plan. Not sure how that pans out now, but I know I got my shots.

There are multiple districts in our county that are applying vax for in-person attendance, grades 7-12. No vax, online only.
Our county has seen a rather large upturn after flatlining for 4 or 5 weeks.
Just a guess.

Kids have to get vaxxed now to be fully immune (2 shots) by August opening.

I notice that for some reason, Florida has started refusing to post daily Covid and death counts. Gee, i wonder why.

We’re in the middle of summer right now obviously but I’ve been interested in seeing if vax rates tick up a bit as we get closer to the fall school term.
