Advice needed on my Did I Cross The Line lunch

The other day I posted on here describing my lunch with my Republican friend and her republican friend. It was titled "Did I Cross The Line?"

I truly wish I could have recorded the discussion I had with these two women and I wish I could then play the recording for you....it is truly unbelievable how these people think!

Ok...the advice I need is how I should have responded when they brought up Hunter Biden. All I said is 1) what does what Hunter does have to do with Joe? And I also asked 2) where was your interest in the last 4 years in the shenanigans and criminality of Don Jr, Ivanka, and Eric?

But I would like advice on how better I could have answered their question, "What about Hunter Biden?"

1. Two questions to ask them: 1. Who told you that? 2. What makes him an expert?

and deal with what they say one point at a time. Odds are it’s bs talking points you can easily counter.
What they are doing it baiting you. Don’t take the bait. Make them say whatever it is they feel the need to say.

They were referring to Hunter's laptop. I really didn't know how to respond except with those 2 things I mentioned here that I said

Don't even put yourself through this. Stop engaging them. You will not make points or sway them. Look how this is upsetting you to the point you're asking total strangers for help. Hold your head high and cut them loose.

5. Unless that laptop was taken directly from Hunter Biden's

posession by Law Enforcement Authorities there is a broken chain of custody and all the data on it has to be assumed to be compromised.

This (chain of custody) is taught in Introduction to Law Enforcement in the first year of Community College. That's where I learned it 50 years ago.

Do they any proof of a crime? Need to contact their local DA. They never actually step up ever to do anything, the just like rumors on Facebook.
