The Republican Party is a lost cause.

As are all those that still associate and support that political Party.

They are anti-American, anti-reality, and anti-truth. They no longer have the ability to distinguish politics from threats to our national security. They are victims of a cult and are incapable of thinking for themselves. They are stuck in a deep denial.

There is no indication that they will open their eyes anytime soon. They see it as nothing more than a war with the "libs". They are in the process of taking our nation under.

No one has any answers.

3. Facts no longer matter to Republicans

Worse still, putting facts in their proper context is wholly alien to their way of thinking.

Let's think of some other nations in which facts don't matter. Iran (or any theocracy), North Korea (or any dictatorship) spring to mind. Neither would strike any thinking person as being nations worthy of imitation. Yet this is where Republicans want to take us -to a place where what they believe outweighs facts, logic, and human dignity.

They are a lost cause for democracy, basic human decency, and acceptance of reality, but their tactics sadly might work out well for them.

8. If The Dems Don't Get Rid Of The Filibuster And Start Passing Some Bills.....

we're screwed.

The Repugs already have us hamstrung and pretty much immobilized. SCOTUS just helped the Repugs along with their decision today. And given the gerrymandering and voting suppression moves the Repugs have made in the Red States - 2022 - will cement their power in the House. The Senate could go R as well - given how the Red States can manipulate the votes in their State.

Then 2024 is just a cake walk for them and the end to our democracy.

It is imperative that the Dems move immediately to remove the filibuster and start making the changes needed to save our Democracy - or in 2024 we'll be hearing the Repugs say the following:

The Dems had their chance and they didn't take advantage of it. Sorry - but we're in charge now.
