Very limited case, dealt with voting in wrong precincts and who can return absentee ballots for people. Not sweeping case and will have limited applications.

The 9th Circuit ruling below hinged on the legitimacy of evaluating a law based on discriminatory impact . That's critical to many if not all) of the VRA lawsuits now pending in many red states. SCOTUS just killed that line of reasoning.

If a state just got rid of early voting on weekends, it's no longer a valid argument that minorities are more likely to use weekends for early voting so the change will have a disparate impact.
